ATASS Energy

ATASS Energy was founded to widen the opportunity for home-owners and small commercial property owners in the South West to participate and benefit from renewable energy. Services include installations in solar PV (photovoltaic) micro-generation, solar thermal and other renewable heating technologies. Access to these technologies is widened through options ranging from complete individual investments to zero-cost hosting arrangements.

Projects

ATASS Solar

ATASS Solar is a sister company to ATASS Energy and is resourced to equip up to 4,000 homes across the West Country with Solar PV (photovoltaic) installations at no charge to the home-owner. This investment is made possible by the Government backed Feed-In Tariff, which pays for the sale of solar powered electricity over 25 years. Solar Hosts benefit by utilising free periods of daytime electricity and thus saving considerable amounts on their annual bills.

Devon Air Ambulance Trust

Adopted as ATASS charity of the year for two years' running, the Devon Air Ambulance Trust raises the funds to keep 2 emergency Air Ambulances flying.  This is no small feat as each and every year they have to raise in the region of £4.5 million to keep both of the helicopters airborne.  Free from the shackles of government funding, the Trust relies solely on its community of supporters to generate these vital resources.

Exeter City Football Club

Proud of its roots and of the fact that the club is owned by fans, Exeter City Football Club has earned a place in the history of English football.  As the first European team to play against Brazil (in 1914) Exeter City can cite dozens of reasons why fans from the region and beyond enjoy a loyal love affair with the Grecians.

Paignton Zoo

Home to animals, plants, habitats and attractions, Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is dedicated to education, conservation and research into wildlife protection, biodiversity and climate change.

The Edge Race Cup

Back for its third year the Edge Race Cup is supported by ATASS and has gained status as a BKSA course race event.  Each June, competitors gather from across the UK with one aim in mind: to dominate the Exmouth winds, slice through all kinds of wave conditions and take their rightful place on the coveted podium.
